Hanoi University of Science and Technology is facing with the increasing importance of and demand for highly qualified scientists and engineers to support Vietnam's industrialization, following the implementation of economic development plans since 1956. It is the now first research-oriented science and technology graduate school in Vietnam.

HUST signed Multilateral Agreement for Academic Exchange and Cooperation at Nagoya University

On August 29th 2016, HUST delegation, led by President - Prof. Hoang Minh Son, paid a working visit to Nagoya University. During his visit, Prof. Hoang Minh Son did attend the Signing Ceremony of Agreement for Academic Exchange and Cooperation among the four universities: Nagoya University (NU), Chulalongkorn University (CU), National University of Laos (NUOL) and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST).
